Mangrove Tree Planting

On 8th February 2015, 40 volunteers went to Kuala Selangor Nature Park (KSNP) for tree planting. This time was not ordinary tree planting, we planted mangrove trees.

Punctuality of volunteers made us able to depart at 7.30am sharp and thus able to reach YMCA KL at 8.00am. We gathered at the front of the office of YMCA KL to wait for the appointed bus to fetch us to KSNP.

Around 9.30am, we finally arrived at KSNP. The person-in-charge of KNSP started guiding us to the area for mangrove tree planting. Compared to other tree planting events, mangrove tree planting is the easiest because there was not much steps needed to plant a mangrove tree.
