Hooray! We’re back from a cross-state trip. SSV has been to Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan on 10th October, today was the second time. Truly amazed by the on-building Earthship structure. :’)
Do you know what is an Earthship?
An Earthship is a radical self sustainable building that takes care of humans providing water, food, energy, sewage treatment and a comfortable temperature while reusing universally abundant garbage like tires, plastic and glass bottles, aluminum and metal cans, and others.
Tyres pounding had been completed and currently the volunteers are working more on technical task, which is lighter work compare to pounding of dirt into tyres.
This round, SSV Volunteers helped in cutting glass bottles to form bottle bricks, moving the sand from one place to another, splitting the palm oil fibre and so on.
It was a long tiring day but we’re proud to be part of it in building the first ever Earthship Structure in Malaysia!
